ATF is recommended for use in all manual transmissions, transaxles and power-steering systems for which the service-fill product is specified as DEX or Mercon fluids. It may also be used as a wide-temperature-range antiwear hydraulic fluid for many mobile, industrial, marine applications, flood-lubricated rotary vane and screw type air compressors where ATF products are specified.
